Congratulations to the newly confirmed of our parishes!
Want to learn more about the Catholic Church or considering joining our parish?
You are welcome to join in Sunday Mass and talk with other parishioners and the parish priest about becoming Catholic. You can also make an appointment to see the priest or parish staff members during the week. If you are not baptized, that is okay! You can inquire all you want. Seeking information about the Catholic faith will not commit or oblige you to become Catholic. We encourage you to learn as much about the faith and take as much time as you need to make this decision. While we love the Catholic faith, and hope that you will also come to love it, we will not pressure anyone to make such an important decision. If you do decide that you want to become Catholic, we will welcome you to participate in a process for initiation into the faith called the Rite of Christian Initiation, or RCIA as it is sometimes referred to. This process gives you the opportunity to get to know Catholics and to participate in the life of the parish through prayer, service to others, and study of the faith. It helps to prepare you, over a period of months, to become a Catholic Christian by eventually celebrating the sacraments of Christian initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion. If you have been baptized in another Christian Church, that is okay, also. The Catholic Church acknowledges your baptism and the initiation process will prepare you to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church by celebrating the sacraments of Confirmation and Holy Communion. Come and check us out!
